 Bowen Therapy

Relax, repair, rebalance and revitalise your nervous system

A deeply relaxing and rejuvenating modality, clients generally report a supreme sense of relaxation during and post a session, with some clients even falling asleep during a balance!  By speaking directly to the autonomic nervous system we are able to take the body from fight and flight mode into rest, relax and repair so that healing can take place at the optimum level.

Due to its gentle nature, Bowen Therapy can be enjoyed by anyone of any age, from the newborn babe to the very elderly and even through all stages of pregnancy.

Focusing on communicating to the autonomic nervous system, Bowen Therapy is a soft tissue modality that uses gentle, spaced-out moves to bring balance back to your body. Moves are completed in several locations on the body and may be done over muscles, tendons, ligaments or nerve bundles to generate the required release and healing.

Bowen Therapy sessions offer an overall balance of the body, releasing and healing the entire system while also focusing on the presenting issues at hand.  A Bowen Therapy balance generally takes around 60 minutes with rest times of up to 2 minutes between sets of moves to allow your body time to integrate the previous inputs.
